How Can severe Itchiness In The Scalp Be Treated?

Am looking for information about eating black pepper or hot peppers and itchy scalp. I read somewhere that there is something in the black pepper that leaves a residue in hair follicles that can cause itching. Is this true? After reading that, I stopped using black pepper and the itching stopped. I seldom eat peppers or hot spice of any kind, but had jalapeno and cayenne in some salsa recently and it made my scalp itch also. I used to use pepper every day on everything with no problem. Why would it cause itching now? I am 66 years old!

hot spicy foods contains chemicals like microptaprotomerase and capsaicin which cause increased burning and sweating sensation which inscalp produce discomfort and itching sensation.
As we age our body immunity and tolerance are reduced along with hormonal changes which inturn make us vulnerable even to slight variations that did not bother us when we were young.
